Long before we left, we took a trip up to San Francisco to go to the Italian Embassy with our witnesses, Jen and Bonn.

We arrived in Italy on May 27th and went to various government offices. We were to anxious to take any pictures and the armed guards might not have liked it.

After taking care of lots of last minute matters, we took a day at Nina's Uncle Pete's in Lago di Garda.

Then we were back in Varenna on Thursday, welcoming our friends and family.
