The Tour of California from 2/19 to 2/26, 2006, sponsored by Amgen has been a great success. We were lucky enough to make it to three days of it, at least in some capacity. We saw the awards ceremony for the prologue (no pics) in San Francisco (during which nor-cal bikers demonstrated their dislike of Arnold Schwarzenegger with non-stop heckling). We took a ferry over to Sauselito for the start of Stage 1. Then I snuck away from work for a while to climb part of the Sierra hill in stage 2 and take a few pics. Here's the results.
